ISU Christmas Party 2012

Last Thursday we had the privilege of hosting approx. 70 college students for their annual Christmas party.  Thank you mentor couples & Zehrs for helping out...we couldn't have done it without you all!

approx. 70 kids + lots of ugly sweaters + even uglier white elephant gifts = SUPER FUN!

Have a good break all...rest up, relax and enjoy time with your family!

Thanksgiving in Lester

Yes, dear sister...I am well behind in blogging.
Now that I have FB, it is easy to let my dear blog slack...however, I know this will serve as our digital file of pictures and happenings for years to come and thus, on this Friday afternoon, I will attempt to catch up...starting with Thanksgiving in Iowa.

Haven and Macy had a grand ole time playing in the basement...and with a cousin old enough to read to her, Haven was highly entertained :)

 and really liked me :)

Congrats Linds & Marcus...he's a gem!

Friday's Funny-poor guy :(

‘You never think it will come down to one vote, but I’m here to tell you that it does.’

Robert McDonald on his Walton, Ky., city council race that ended in a tie. McDonald had told his wife, who works nights, not to worry about going to vote, and the outcome will now be determined by a coin flip.
